Every wish is a unique and memorable experience for the wish child, the wish family and all those who participate in the wish. And, many donors say they began their support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation and its endearing mission after hearing a child’s memorable wish story.
Now you can help create more heartwarming stories for children with life-threatening medical conditions through the Make-A-Wish Foundation Adopt-A-Wish program. This tax-deductible giving option allows donors to fund a single wish experience in its entirety.
The average monetary cost to create a child’s wish experience is $7,500. The Make-A-Wish Foundation covers all costs associated with a wish, including the send-off party, transportation, food, lodging, admission fees for the entire family, souveniers and gifts.

- Be the sole sponsor of a child’s wish
- Learn about your sponsored child – receive a detailed story about your child’s interests and wish (story can be displayed in your home or business)
- Receive distinguished recognition in the Foundation newsletter
